Contest: “PROXIMATE CAUSE”
“Proximate Cause” is a motivational and inspirational book written by Tigran Sahakyan, an Armenian American entrepreneur, and a former student of Brusov University.
Please read the book (available at Brusov Career Center or on Kindle) and write a letter to the author, including the following.
- Do you agree or disagree with the ideas and messages in the book?
- Will the Armenian youth benefit by incorporating the ideas from the book?
- Will the given thoughts be considered as a guide to a prosperous and successful future for you as a reader and why?
- Please include any disagreement you have and set forth your reasons behind

Guidelines:
-Open to all students enrolled in Yerevan Brusov State University of Languages and Social Sciences 2021-22 academic year.
-Your letter/essay must be 2,500 words or less. Only one letter/essay per student may be submitted.
- Should be double spaced, have 1-inch margins, include page numbers, include title, be typed in 12-point font.
-Must be submitted by 11:59 P.M. (EST), August 25, 2021
- 1st (THREE WINNERS), 2nd (THREE WINNERS) and 3rd (THREE WINNERS) place
winners will be awarded $500, $400 and $250 each respectively. Prizes will be awarded during joint discussion with participants on Friday, September 24, 2021.
