The students of the faculty are majoring in English, German, French, Japanese and Russian and corresponding Cultural Studies. Simultaneously they take courses in second language and Cultural Studies – English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Arabic, Turkish, Persian, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Georgian etc. The range of foreign languages is constantly expanding.
The Faculty suggests also a number of educational programs in Political science: Political Science, International Relations and European Studies.
Goals: the educational programs of Intercultural Communication and Political science foster development of interlingual and intercultural communicative competencies, knowledge and skills in terms of socio-cultural values of the corresponding countries, as well as competencies and skills to analyze socio-political relations, political analysis of specific political events and political situations at the domestic and international levels.
Mission: to educate competitive in the labor market, qualified specialists with linguistic, cultural and political knowledge, equipped with interlingual, intercultural, geopolitical and communicative competencies. To become a national and regional center in corresponding scientific, educational and research areas.
