About Career Center

The Career Center is currently operating at BSU with the general objective to promote the competitiveness of the students and graduates of the University in the labor market, as well as to ensure constant connection and consolidate cooperation between the University and the graduates. The Career Center is the only body within the structure of the University that is concerned with issues regarding the employment of the students and theBSU Scientific Council. The Career Center Policy is approved by the BSU Scientific Council.

The mission of the Career Center is to increase the competitiveness of the students and graduates and provide direction in the market, as well as to establish and promote interaction between the university and the graduates. 

The activity of the center is carried out in the following directions:
  • Taking into account the present-day challenges in the labor market, the center continuously organizes events of various kinds of internship programs, workshop-seminars, meetings with the partners of the center, holding the aim to increase the competitiveness and the awareness of the students.
  • In order to advance the competitiveness of the students and the graduates the center undertakes frequent researches in order to study the existing state and ongoing trends in the labor market.
  • By means of active cooperation with employers the center periodically organizes job fairs.
  • The center provides consultancy to students and graduates in writing their CVs and introducing their best in different kinds of interviews.
  • The center implements not only local, but also international educational programs, particularly youth exchange programs, trainings, the European Voluntary Service project, European Solidarity Corps, Credit Mobility projects and numerous other programs in the framework of the Erasmus+ project.
  • The center disseminates information among the students and the graduates regarding national, regional, as well as international educational programs, available job opportunities, seminars and volunteer work.
