Romanian audience

Goals

To enhance students’ interest towards Romanian, to introduce historical and cultural values of the country. To contribute to the educational process in cooperation with BSU faculties.

Functions

As an elective course, the Romanian language has been taught in BSU since 2007:  as a third foreign language since 2008, as a second foreign languages since 2015.

Currently, Romanian is studied as a second and third foreign language at the Faculty of RFL (Italian-Linguistics and French-Linguistics). Romanian courses are held and the auditorium opened by the Embassy of the Republic of Romania in the RA.

The Embassy regularly provides information, educational and didactic materials, textbooks to disseminate Romanian language and culture. Within the framework of an interstate agreement between Armenia and Romania, Romanian is taught by experienced lecturers. The Republic of Romania regularly provides scholarships for students studying the language.
