The international conference "Translation in the 21st century" calls for abstracts and papers related but not limited to the following topics of discussion:
- Translation and intercultural communication
- Specific fields of translation (medical, political, literary, et c)
- Machine translation
- Digital translation tools
- Translation training
The conference is organized by BSU Chair of English Communication and Translation to invite interested parties for a discussion of actual problems in the broad field of translation: to share cutting-edge research, to introduce the opportunities of the international job market to young professionals and students, to promote professional networking between local and foreign translation businesses and organizations, as well as to develop modernized educational programs.
