Under the leadership of Rector Karine Harutyunyan, the “Brusov State University Endowment Fund” was established in 2019. University funds are not widely practiced in Armenia, while in most universities around the world these funds are very well funded and operate. Harvard University endowment fund, established in 1974, is now reaching forty-one billion dollars.

This is a research paper. Please do your research and make your suggestions to the leadership of Brusov State University. Look into the experience and practices, successes and failures of other University funds. Your essay will be judged by a) the extent of your research and b) suggestions made by you and c) the general understanding of the essay contest theme.

Guidelines:

- Open to all students enrolled in Brusov State University 2020-21 academic year.

- Your essay must be 2,500 words or less. Only one essay per student may be submitted.

- All essays should be double spaced, have 1-inch margins, include page numbers, include essay title, be typed in 12 point font.

- Essays must be submitted by 11:59 P.M. (EST), August 15, 2020

- 1^st  (THREE WINNERS), 2^nd (THREE WINNERS) and 3^rd (THREE WINNERS) place winners will be awarded $500, $400 and $250 each respectively. Prizes will be awarded during joint discussion with participants on Friday, September 18, 2020.
