EDUCATION

Graduated from Yerevan N108 Secondary School in 1973.

Studied at Polytechnic Institute of Yerevan (Polytechnic University), at the Faculty of Radio-electronics in 1973-1978. Meanwhile, I studied in the Faculty of Social Professions in 1976-1978. Upon graduation I obtained the professions of Electronic Technique Engineer and French Technical Translator.

SCIENTIFIC EXPERIENCE

1990 - Thesis Defense (Yerevan Scientific-Research Institute of Mathematical Machines), Degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences. Author of 10 sphere-related inventions and over 30 scientific works.

1995 - I started carrying out research in Political Science and authored the following works: “Post-Soviet Transformation of the Social System” in 2006, “The Regulation of Nagorno Karabakh Conflict within the Framework of International Law” in 2008, “The South Caucasus after the August War, Nagorno Karabakh Conflict, Armenian-Turkish Relations” in 2009, “Conflict Resolutions in the Framework of the International Law: Case of Nagorno Karabakh” in 2010, “Nagorno Karabakh and Kosovo Conflicts, Negotiations, Geopolitics”.

2012 - “Opportunities and Impact of the Armenian Diaspora on the Social-Political Processes of the Republic of Armenia” monograph (co-authored with M. Saradyan) in 2017, more than six dozen scientific and over two hundred analytical articles published in Armenian and foreign periodicals and collections.

2006 - Thesis Defense at Yerevan State University, Degree of Doctor of Political Sciences.

2010 - Monograph on “The Resolution of Nagorno Karabakh Conflict in the Framework of International Law” was awarded the prize of the “Best Scientific Work of the Year” by the RA National Academy of Sciences in the category of Social Sciences.
