Strengthening The Quality Of Online Education In HEIs In
Moldova And  Armenia (MEDIA)

Within the framework of Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) Competition 2023, Brusov State University is involved in the Erasmus+ CBHE project Strengthening the Quality of Online Education in HEIs in Moldova and Armenia (MEDIA).

MEDIA aims to foster the development of national education systems in Moldova and Armenia regarding online teaching and learning in order to support reforms of it through creation of tailored framework conditions, practical tools and facilities able to multiply long-lasting effects for achievement of short and long-term quality of asynchronous and synchronous online education.

The structure of the MEDIA project was designed to be able to produce the benefits for Moldovan and Armenian systems and their HE institutions, thus contributing to the global aim of the action to support the relevance, quality, modernization and responsiveness of higher education in third countries not associated to the Erasmus+ program in their way to socio-economic recovery, growth and prosperity, it became possible through cooperation of EU countries with third countries not associated to the Erasmus+ program (Moldova and Armenia), raise awareness, exchange of experience and good practices, proposed new approaches, promotion of reforms and trainings activities. It constitutes an adequate response to the current needs and constraints at different levels of the target groups and final beneficiaries in Moldova and Armenia.

Main Objectives:

  • To establish Inter-University MEDIA Centers/subdivisions in Moldova, Armenia HEIs as spaces facilitating modernization and internalization of national education systems regarding synchronous and asynchronous online education, by proposing new strategic initiatives, regulatory changes in online teaching and learning, pedagogy and practice, learning environments and community, based on EU best practices;
  • To advance national and institutional regulatory framework by proposing new strategic initiatives, regulatory changes in online teaching and learning, pedagogy and practice, learning environments and community, based on EU best practices;
  • To increase the knowledge, capacities and ability of HEIs teaching staff in Armenia and Moldova on creation of media products program;
  • To develop, coordinate the adaptation and implement Learning Analytics (LA) in online education in 7 HEI’s from Armenia and Moldova;
  • То elaborate and accredit/validate a multi-disciplinary non-formal educational program on digital media program responding to the needs of HEIs and its students, as well as to the labor market modern requests sharpened by COVID;
  • То fostered cooperation of consortium partners through joint and sound management activities, quality, dissemination and exploitation activities of the project.
