“Creative Spark: Higher Education Enterprise programme”

The main goal of the project is to develop enterprise skills and creative ecosystem at the University.

Objectives are:

• To raise public awareness on entrepreneurial activities
• To develop and include creative entrepreneurship skills and capacities in the curriculum
• To prepare creative entrepreneurship professionals
• To raise the capacity of the institution to commercialize creative entrepreneurial ideas and provide the students and graduates with the necessary advice.

British Council
Change School
University of Essex

The expected outcomes for the first year of the Project are:

• 24 trained lecturers from YSULS and partner universities
• About 500 trained students  on Creative Entrepreneurship
• About 700 youth trained by British Council’s online English language resources  (English Channel)
• Collaboration with UK universities through webinars and joint projects
• Projects selected as a result of Pitching Competition for further funding
