Learning outcomes (knowledge, abilities, skills)

·         Perform simultaneous and consecutive interpretation from English into Armenian and vice versa, employing appropriate strategies across various thematic, sectoral, and professional contexts.

·         Ensure seamless communication in diverse intercultural settings, drawing upon basic knowledge of various social and cultural phenomena.

·         Utilize the full range of grammatical, lexical, and stylistic features in both target and source languages to ensure clear communication tailored to the intended audience.

·         Coordinate specialized field terminology and render speech using equivalent terms in the target language.

·         Employ necessary technical tools for consecutive and simultaneous interpretation.

·         Resolve translation and communication challenges in accordance with professional ethics.

·         Analyze theoretical concepts in language, communication, and translation, conducting independent research to evaluate one's own and others' translations/interpretations.

·         Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and physical and mental endurance to independently navigate interpretation tasks in diverse professional settings throughout one's career development.

·         Utilize professional development strategies, retrospectively analyzing one's own work and enhancing professional skills.
