In 2022-2023 a number of trainings dedicated to the quality assurance (QA) were regularly carried out for the teaching staff by the Quality Assurance Center (QAC) at Brusov State University (BSU). The trainings were organized by the BSU Department of University Continuing Education within the framework of the 5-year program of teacher training which has launched at BSU since 2021.
The purpose of the QA trainings is to transfer up-to-date knowledge relating the QA sphere, including national and institutional processes, quality management cycle and activities of the key role-players in external quality evaluation of educational institutions, as well as to increase the level of awareness on the BSU experience in the QA sphere among teachers of the university.
During trainings the current core issues related to the education QA were discussed, and practical activities were carried out. QA trainings, like other BSU training courses conducted in other professional spheres, are generally aimed at developing and improving the professional knowledge and competencies of the teaching staff. All participants successfully passed tests and were awarded with certificates.
QA trainings for BSU stakeholders will be continuous.
