The vision of the Chair is to pursue the establishment of a competitive education system in line with the national and international standards to implement academic programs of the professions of “Management” and “Education Assessment” emphasizing the role of higher education in the process of globalization and procedure of amendments in the RA education system, as well as considering the market liberalization, diversity in education and competitive environment.

MA Profession of “Management” (henceforth “Management Program”) (specialization: “Public Administration”) reflects the provisions of the 7 th level descriptors of the RA QNF. The goal of the program is to shape students' professional knowledge, skills and competences in the fields of Management and Public Administration. The academic program emphasizes the formation of professional knowledge and the development of professional and transferable skills which include the perception of values and professional ethics in the process of strategic and managerial decision making at the institutional, local, national and global levels, strategic thinking and management, operational management, human resource and finance management, stakeholder engagement and management, conflict management. The “Management” program combines theoretical and practical components in order to ensure the graduates’ preparedness to implement activities in the fields of profession and specialization. All the courses of the program include a practical component which enables students to apply theory in various real-life, profession-oriented situations. Research internship and internship modules provide opportunities which bring students closer to real situations to apply their knowledge and develop their abilities and skills.

“Education Assessment and Testing” /011102.03.7/ Master's Degree Program is the only program in Armenia that will be implemented for 1.5 years within the scope of 90 ECTS Credits. “Education Assessment and Testing” /011102.03.7/ program is designed for MA students who want to obtain profound knowledge and proficiency in particular disciplines such as Education Assessment, Education Measurement, Test Design, Education Policy Development and Analysis, and other related disciplines. This academic program will be implemented by BSU Chairs, Assessment Testing Center, as well as by other target employers. The advantages of MA program in “Education Assessment and Testing” /011102.03.7/ are training professionals with specialized knowledge, abilities and skills of test development, who, apart from properly developing and applying the tests, will be able to analyze test results, another advantage is training such specialists who are able to assess knowledge applying a variety of assessment tools and mechanisms, specialists that are capable of doing qualitative and quantitative analyzes.
