Conference title: “Soviet Armenia in the 1920s and 1930s”

Khachatur Abovian Armenian State Pedagogical University is honoured to announce that between June 24 and 25, 2019, under the initiative of the University’s scientific laboratory “Armenia in the period between 1920 and 1991”, we will be hosting the conference “Soviet Armenia in the 1920s and 1930s”.

The aim of the conference is to provide the scholarly circles with the respective platform for discussions on the major issues in Soviet Armenia in the aforementioned decades with special reference to political processes, foreign policy factors, economic life, the relationship with the Armenian Diaspora, the involvement and role of the Armenian Church, as well as the issues of cultural paradigm, everyday life, and routine.

We are delighted to welcome all the researchers interested in the subject-matter themes to join the conference.

All papers are accepted in Armenian, Russian or English languages.

The submission deadline is March 30, 2019.
